Mohamed Salah’s brace was enough to give Liverpool the win after they came from behind to win 2-1.
The visitors went 1-0 up through Jamie Vardy in the 3rd minute as he poked in his 7th goal in 5 games against Liverpool.
Liverpool reacted strongly after the Leicester goal as they had a number of chances where they went close. Sadio Mane also had a goal disallowed for offside but the hosts went into the half 1-0 down.
The reds started the game off well and eventually found the equaliser in the 52nd minute through Mohamed Salah who netted in his 16th goal of the season.
In the 76th minute, Salah scored his second of the evening to put Liverpool 2-1 up on the night. His 17th goal in the Premier League was enough to secure the victory and the three points for the reds who ensure they close out 2017 in the top four.
Liverpool’s next fixture is away to Burnley on New Year’s Day whilst Leicester City face Huddersfield at home.
